ZARARTI uses filmmaking as an educational tool. To promote awareness of the Maltese Cultural Heritage of Commedia dell’Arte we produced two pilot films. These are short films of a performance of a Commedia dell’Arte sketch with actors in characteristic costumes and masks. After the 10 minute sketch there is an expert explaining the analysis of the featurette. These pilot projects are being used as promotion for a potential series of educational videos for local television.
Other projects included a period costume production L-ISPIŻJARA (The Pharmacist) a short docudrama about Malta's first female pharmacist, IL-BILJETT (The Ticket) a short film about the dangers of greed within a family setting, and VJAĠĠ (Journey) a film about dementia.
